Overview

Site Service Regions carried out the internal strip-out at Halifax House for Tilbury Hall, removing the existing office fit-out to prepare the space for refurbishment.

The package covered floor finishes and raised access flooring, suspended ceilings, internal partitions, doors and kitchen fittings. It also included the removal of redundant mechanical and electrical items within the agreed scope.

The work

Our team stripped out the internal finishes and fittings, working through the different areas of the building. Redundant services and equipment formed part of the removal package, with specialist isolation and making safe required from the relevant contractors before removal.

  • Floor finishes and raised access flooring.

  • Non-loadbearing partitions, doors and frames.
  • Kitchen fittings and associated joinery.
  • Redundant cabling, cable tray, pipework and plant.
  • Segregation and removal of strip-out waste.

Managing the materials

Site footage captured the work in progress, with timber, metal and other removed materials separated into different areas. Material handling and waste clearance were an important part of managing the strip-out alongside the removal work.

The result

The existing office fit-out was stripped back, preparing the agreed areas for the next stage of Tilbury Hall’s refurbishment.
